Activity Summary
From 1st July 2012 to 30th June 2013

1. Council Meetings
Multiple council meetings have been held between 1st July 2012 and 30th June 2013, in which IMAWA policies, plans for events, and association activities have been decided, overseen and reviewed.

2. Ethics and Religion Committee Events
From 1st July 2012 until 30th June 2013, the total of Seven “Duaa Kumayl and Spiritual Lecture” (Monthly basis starting from December 2012) have been hold.

3. External Relations
The association relationship with local government authorities has been maintained and strengthened. IMAWA’s membership, relationship and cooperation with FIA, the Federation of Iranian Associations of Australia Incorporated have been maintained.

4. Takreem Home and Community Care
Over the past years, ICH was sending volunteers from within the community to assist aged people who needed assistance. Starting from July 2012 IMAWA planned to establish a new division with the name of Takreem dedicated to providing aged/disability care with a workforce of professionally trained carers. Takreem established in Feb 2013 and the services commenced on 1st April 2013.

5. Websites and Social Media
IMAWA website and facebook page have been maintained and kept up-to-date with regular posting of information, events, occasions and announcements. A new website for Takreem is also established and maintained.
