1. Social Gatherings and Events
The following
events organised and held by IMAWA from 1st July 2017 until 30th
June 2018.

Supplication 11 events
It is
noteworthy that some other religious gatherings/festivals
were also administered by IMAWA but not listed above. They were merged with the Kumayl supplication due to
the
proximity of their occurrences.
2. Shia Federation WA (SFWA)
IMAWA has
always been keen to make the idea of uniting the Shia communities in WA happen
under the name of Shia Federation WA. In order to facilitate this
process, Six meetings were held to discuss the necessities
of its existence, the details of its constitution and to coordinate celebrating
one of the most celebrated Eid of the
Islamic calendar, Al-Fitr.

Management Team
IMAWA
management team has currently 11 members. Also, in October 2017, a new president and vice president were elected by vote. All members
participated equally in decision-making and running the programs. From 1st
July 2017 until 30th June 2018, the team has held a total of 5 meetings.
4.
External Relation
(1) Representative of WA Police and community liaison officers from the
Department of Home Affairs (DoHA) were invited and attended to one of our Iftar dinners. They both expressed their
contentment and joy for their attendance later via email.
(2) Two explanatory and professional
meetings were held between the IMAWA president and a community liaison officer from DoHA to elaborate the structure and strategic goals/plans of
the IMAWA and to elucidate ways of
communication and receiving support from
the government regarding its future plans.
(3) A few members of IMAWA management
team attended the WA Police Commissioner’s morning tea in June 2018 by
invitation from Chris Dawson, the Police Commissioner
